Congressman Bill Posey Investigates CDC Whistleblower Claims

Last week news broke in the autism community that someone from the upper ranks of the CDC’s vaccine research program had finally come clean and admitted that research being published on the vaccine autism link has not been earnest.  He expressed deep regret and guilt at taking part in burying the link between the MMR and a high rate of autism in black males, by means of excluding any African American boys from the study who did not have a Georgia birth certificate.

In a phone call with autism dad and research scientist, Brian Hooker, Thompson said, “Oh my God, I did not believe that we did what we did, but we did. It’s all there. This is the lowest point in my career, that I went along with that paper. I have great shame now when I meet families of kids with autism, because I have been part of the problem.”

The story has grown for a week, parents and advocacy organizations are furious, but as of yet, no mainstream media source has carried the story.

The Canary Party thanks Dr. Thompson for acting on his conscience and for being willing to expose this injustice against our children.

Now Bill Posey (FL) has again stepped up and is investigating the allegations made by Dr. Thompson.  We are thrilled that he is taking on this crucial matter and we are urging all members of congress to join Congressman Posey in the investigation into the #CDCwhistleblower claims.

Please contact your members of Congress TODAY (http://whoismyrepresentative.com/), and tell them that:

 – A senior scientist at the CDC has turned whistleblower and has turned over documents showing that CDC has been hiding links between vaccines in autism that they have found during their research.

– That Congressman Bill Posey is currently investigating the fraud.

– That you want your Representative join Congressman Posey in holding hearings on the malfeasance that Dr. Thompson has brought to light.

Additionally, please post the iReport on this story on the facebook page of Congressional representatives, as well as tweeting the story to them using the hashtag #CDCwhistleblower
